About Us

Gavin is the visionary founder of the Junior Investors Club and is a Junior at Weston High School.  Gavin has a strong foundation in finance, having completed the Wharton School's Global Youth Program in 2023 and Wharton's 2024 Future of the Business World, which both deepened his understanding of money management. His leadership skills shine through his roles on various advisory boards, including Joshua’s Heart Foundation, where he serves as a financial analyst on the National Board.

 A dedicated public servant and Eagle Scout, Gavin has spearheaded numerous community service projects, such as book drives for The Darien Book Aid and the "Every Child Deserves a Healthy Snack" campaign in collaboration with Filling in the Blanks, a non-for-profit in Norwalk, CT. His efforts have earned him prestigious accolades: Daily Point of Light Award, The Congressional Award Silver Medal, Joshua’s Heart Foundation Operational Excellence Award and The President’s Volunteer Service Award Gold Medal. In school, he founded and leads as President WHS DECA, Senator on Student Government and President of the American Heroes Club, demonstrating his commitment to developing future business leaders. 

Gavin has been awarded several grants, including the Kroger Zero-Waste Grant, the Kroger Zero-Hunger Grant, and the WE Volunteer Grant, which have funded initiatives such as the "Every Child Deserves a Healthy Snack",  a Clothing Swap Shop for Weston High School Students and personal finance class series for middle school students. 

An accomplished athlete, Gavin excels as a goalie for the CT Rush Premier Soccer Team and the Weston High School Varsity Soccer Team. Beyond sports, he's also a talented guitar player.  Through his diverse interests and dedication to excellence, Gavin exemplifies the qualities of a young leader poised to make significant contributions in the fields of finance and community service.
