About Us

Gavin Villepigue, Founder and Lead Instructor

Gavin is the visionary founder of the Junior Investors Club and a junior at Weston High School. He has built a strong foundation in finance, having completed the Wharton School’s Global Youth Program in 2023 and the 2024 Future of the Business World program, both of which enriched his knowledge of money management and business strategy. His leadership extends across several advisory boards, including the Joshua’s Heart Foundation, where he serves as a national financial analyst.


A dedicated community leader, Eagle Scout and president of WHS DECA, Gavin has led numerous local and national initiatives, earning national recognition through awards such as the Daily Point of Light Award, the Congressional Award Gold Medal, the Joshua’s Heart Operational Excellence Award, and the President’s Volunteer Service Award Gold Medal.

Noel is a freshman at Villanova University majoring in Political Science on the pre-law track, with a minor in Business Law. He currently serves as Vice President of TEDxVillanova, where he helps organize and curate thought-provoking events that spotlight innovation, leadership and social impact. In recognition of his commitment to leade

 

Noel is a freshman at Villanova University majoring in Political Science on the pre-law track, with a minor in Business Law. He currently serves as Vice President of TEDxVillanova, where he helps organize and curate thought-provoking events that spotlight innovation, leadership and social impact. In recognition of his commitment to leadership and civic engagement, Noel was awarded Villanova’s Certificate of Leadership during his first year on campus.


A graduate of Weston High School, Noel brings a strong background in public policy, research and youth advocacy to the Junior Investors Club. He has completed internships with the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office and a Connecticut State Senator, where he conducted legal research and contributed to policy initiatives focused on equity and education. 


As a Senior Instructor for the Junior Investors Club, Noel helps facilitate interactive workshops and Q&A sessions, offering students actionable guidance on how to navigate high school and college with purpose. He specializes in college and career readiness, helping students understand how to strategically choose classes, pursue internships, and prepare for business or pre-law pathways.

Travis is a sophomore at Weston High School with a strong interest in business and entrepreneurship. He is actively involved in several student organizations, including DECA, the American Heroes Club, St. Baldrick’s Club and The Green Team.


Driven by a deep commitment to service, Travis consistently seeks out ways to create a positive imp

 

Travis is a sophomore at Weston High School with a strong interest in business and entrepreneurship. He is actively involved in several student organizations, including DECA, the American Heroes Club, St. Baldrick’s Club and The Green Team.


Driven by a deep commitment to service, Travis consistently seeks out ways to create a positive impact in his community. Recognizing the mission of the Junior Investors Club, he joined the initiative to help close the gap in financial education—empowering students with the knowledge and tools to make informed financial decisions and build a secure future.


A dedicated athlete, Travis competes on Weston High School’s Junior Varsity Soccer Team, Track Team, and Varsity Lacrosse Team. He is also a talented trombone player who enjoys performing and refining his musical skills. In his free time, Travis finds both inspiration and relaxation in music, drawing from a wide range of genres to fuel his creativity and motivation.

Ethan is a seventh grader at Weston Middle School with a passion for leadership, community involvement, and personal growth. He serves on Weston Middle School Student Government and plays both football and lacrosse for Weston, demonstrating strong teamwork and dedication on and off the field.

Ethan is a seventh grader at Weston Middle School with a passion for leadership, community involvement, and personal growth. He serves on Weston Middle School Student Government and plays both football and lacrosse for Weston, demonstrating strong teamwork and dedication on and off the field.


An active Boy Scout and Patrol Leader in his troop, Ethan also serves as Marketing Chair of the Junior Investors Club. In this role, he plays a key part in spreading awareness about the Club’s free financial literacy classes, helping to design and distribute promotional materials, speak with students and families and grow the Club’s local presence. His efforts have helped increase attendance and ensure that more students have access to valuable financial education.

Through his involvement in school, sports, Scouting, and the Junior Investors Club, Ethan continues to develop the skills and values of a thoughtful and driven young leader.
